God’s definition of a Remnant:
Remnant is not a title or a clear, visible group of people. It is the lot or group that are scattered and protected in different places, the recused lot who will also be part of the tribulation and will suffer persecution, and will be afflicted, and they will be rescued as a prey form the hunter, amidst the tribulation, not before the tribulation.
Amos 3:12
This is what the Lord says:
“As a shepherd rescues from the lion’s mouth
only two leg bones or a piece of an ear,
so will the Israelites living in Samaria be rescued,
with only the head of a bed
and a piece of fabric[a] from a couch.[b]”
This verse best explains the escape of the remnant.
